Essay

The thesis deals with the screening investigation of the perspective antimicrobial substances withing the of quaternary phosphonium compounds and the substantiation of expediency of the creation on their basis of new chemotherapeutical agents with a variously oriented action. The antimicrobial activity levels and the spectrum influence of 217 new compounds pertaining to test - cultures of museum and clinical strains of microorganisms have been investigated. The regularitie of a connection of the chemical structure from the antimicrobial activity have been determined by means of logic - structure analy-sis that enabled to recomend the basic trends of a purposeful synthesis in a series of quaternary phosphonium salts. The sate of forming the persistency of clinical antibioticresistant strains of Staphylococcus aureus to phosphonium compounds the influence of pH medium and the blood serum contend on the antimicrobial activity of the compounds under the study have been evaluated in Vitro trials. Acute toxicity, cumulative effects and a local irritation action of heterocyclic phosphonium compounds have been studied. Chemotherapeutical efficacy of the most perspective com-pounds have been elucidated using two experimental models of staphylococcus infections.
