Essay

The thesis is dedicated to investigating of the processes of interferential changes in Late Medieval Latin inscriptions of Ukraine at the end of the XVIth - beginning of XVIIIth centuries, appeared as a result of interaction of Latin with Ukrainian and partly Polish. In the thesis the structural changes of the language at morphological, syntactic and lexical levels are researched and analyzed, also phonetic and spelling peculiarities of inscriptions are investigated. It's established that interferential changes at the morphological level are characterized by reducing of the meanings of such parts of speech, as a pronoun and a verb. Interferential changes in syntax caused to breaking the syntactic models and the system of cases of Ukrainian variant of the Late Medieval Latin. Not observing the relations between categorial syntactic meanings of the subject and the predicate and categorial morphological meanings of the parts of speech which are expressed by the main parts of the sentence are established.The main vocabulary of Late Medieval Latin is the vocabulary of classical period. The essential changes are observed in the thematic group of social-political vocabulary, in the structure of the meaning of which changes and subdivision of meanings according to the communicative needs and verbalization of new notions takes place.
