Object: epistolary heritage of М.М. Kotsyubynsky: aim to define individual stylistic Features of the epistolary heritage of М.М. Kotsyubynsky via the prism of connotations of culturological and pragmalinguistic character; methods: descriptive, comparative, seme-component and linguistic-regional approaches: novelty: connotative peculiarities of the epistolary heritage of М.М. Kotsyubynsky in cultur-ological and pragmalinguistic aspects have been analyzed for the first time; the definition of connotation regarding epistolary text has been clarified; the main peculiarities of connotation have been determined taking into account the following formula: context (discourse) -> text; results: there appeared a systemati/ed material for lectures on stylistics and history of the Ukrainian language.
