Object: nominative processes in Ukrainian dialectal language; objective: to describe nominative processes in eastern steppe dialects of Southern Donechchyna which appear in lexical thematic group "Human being and his/her features" paying attention on area studying of nominative units; methods: descriptive, linguogeography, elements of methods of statistical analysis; novelty : first time complex analysis of lexical thematic group "Human being and his/her features" in Ukrainian eastern steppe dialects of Southern Donechchyna has been conducted, nominative processes have been discovered and described; methods of area researches of motives of nomination have been expended; results: empirical base of Ukrainian dialectology has been enriched, material for drawing up Vocabulary of Ukrainian dialects, Lexical atlas of Ukrainian language have been systematized.
