Koval N. Social and Economical Features in Development of Individual Farms of Rural Population.

Object of research - process of functioning and development of individual farms, employment of rural population in Khmelnitsky province. The purpose of research - grounds of theoretical and methodological propositsons,analysis and estimate of present-day status in development of individual peasant farms and elaboration of main trends of their functioning in prospect. Method of research - historic, abstract and logic, monographic, systematic, statistic and economic, of comparative analysis, graphic and sociometric, etc. Theoretical and practical results - the formulated in the thesis scientific results, obtained conclusions and recommendations may be used by village councils, district and regional boards, state legislative organs in the course of preparation of legislative and legal measures and materials directed on maintenance of effective functioning personal peasant farvs. Scientific novelty - for the first time time there were revealed the features of functioning individual peasant farms in the period of the reform stage development of agrarian sector; was grounded the singlemindedness and the ways of involving individual peasant farms into forming market orientation of agrarian sector; was specified the economic character and functions of personal farms in modern conditions of farming production raising; there was made the classification into 4 groups of individual farms of rural dwellers according to their production potential; the generalization of economic concept self-employment obtained the further progress; as well as there was grounded the perspective in development and raising the tfficiency of functioning personal peasant farms by means of their transformation into the subjects of entrepreneur's astivity jf different organizational and legal forms. Degree of introduction - the results of research were accepted for introduction by the central board of agriculture and food production in Khmelnitsky province; by the board of agriculture and food production in Dunaycvtsy district state administration, as well as they are used in educational process at the Institute of business and finance of State Agrarian and Engineering University in Podillya and at high vocational school №36 in Balin,Dunayevtsy district in Khmelnitsky province. Efficiency - the research results consist in elaboration of scientifically grounded trends of individual farms of population, they will favour the raising standard of living of rural dwellers, as well as forming the market conditions in the countryside with the hurhose to fulfil the food programme.
