The dissertation is devoted to the increase of efficacy in treatment of cardiac arrhythmia in patients with ischemic heart disease accompanied by depressive disordes by means of combined use of antiarrhythmic preparation Amiodaron and antidepressant Fluoxetin. In experiments was found that Fluoxetin to exhibit its own antiarrhythmic activity, and when used in combination with Amiodaron - to potentiate the action of the latter. In patients combination therapy of Amiodaron and Fluoxetin was more effective than Amiodaron therapy alone. The field is medicine.
