It was established first time that lipoflavon (guercetin liposomal form) has marked cardioprotective effect due to antioxidant, membranoprotective, anti-inflammatory properties of quercetin, its ability to inhibit the free radical oxidation processes, improve the state of antioxidant system, suppress production of inflammatory transmitters (leukotriens) and also because of antioxidant, membranoprotective effects of lecitin. The presence of cardioprotective effect was proved on different models of myocardium damage. It was proved that lipoflavon cardioprotective effect is more than the effect of other quercetin-containing drugs. It was also proved that lipoflavon has antiinflammatory and hypolipidemic effects. Thus, lipoflavon (guercetin liposomal form) is useful for treatment cardiovascular disorders
