Matsyak O. Arts synthesis in Olha Kobylyanska's prose: the problem of the writer's self-identification.

Arts synthesis (that of literature with music and painting) in O.Kobylyanska's prose is researched in the thesis from the methodological stand of the writer's self-identification. Topical issues of the theory of arts synthesis as a literary phenomenon. On the basis of artistic texts of the writer her musical world outlook and self-perception are reconstructed, her belonging to the type of a sensible person is shown; implementation of her vocation for music is traced from one composition to another. Peculiarities of practicing different visual arts, namely of painting and graphics, are considered in O.Kobylyanska's picturesque prose.
