Object of research: resoursesaving as sphere of economic activities of agricultural area. The purpose of research: development of theoretical and practical recommendations on a substantiation of the mechanism resoursesaving in increase of efficiency of an agricultural production. Methods: dialectic, abstract-logic, correlation-regress, monographic, graphic, statistical. Theoretical and practical results: the essence of economic efficiency in conditions resoursesaving is considered. The economic analysis of resources consumptions and a level of their recoupment on an example of the agricultural enterprises of the Ternopol area is lead. The comparative estimation resoursesaving and prospects of efficiency of managing in fine and large agrarian formations is carried out. Are made offers on optimization of the sizes of the agricultural enterprises and their formations, recommendations on optimization of structure of expenses of the agricultural enterprise are formulated. Scientific novelty: it is opened essence resoursesaving as economic category, factors resoursesaving and its place in an economic mechanism of economy are investigated, criteria of transition of economy on resoursesaving type of development are proved, value of a competition as main lever of the economic mechanism resoursesaving is characterized.
