Essay

The thesis is devoted to studying of the nonlinear fluid sloshing in a rigid cylindrical tank partly filled by the ideal incompressible liquid. Finite dimensional nonlinear mathematical models are built. These models describe a moving of liquid in the field of the main resonance. Main physical phenomena are described. Form of the free surface and main features of forces interaction of body with liquid are determined.
