Andrianova G. Principles of architectural and planning arrangement of units of public service in conditions of reconstruction of residential blocks.

The problem of the formation of the service system in new social and economic conditions of the independent Ukraine is considered in the thesis. Main demands as for the different forms of inhabitants’ service are exposed as well as those factors, which influence the typology and architectural and planning arrangement of public institutions in conditions of reconstruction. Principles of the complex formation of service institutions are determined. There was elaborated the structural model of the service system for the residential block. The nomenclature of new types of service buildings is offered; such structures may be arranged on the level of residential group, residential blocks or (separate units) on the level of residential district. Main trends of the heightening of architectural and compositional qualities of service units were determined.
