Essay

The thesis is devoted to improvement of prediction and prophylaxis of placental insufficiency (PI). The analysis of somatic and obstetric status was conducted in 89 pregnant women with antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) and urogenital infection. The role of infection in pathogenesis of APS was determined. Clinical, hemostasiological, immunological, microbiological features of pregnancy, labor and delivery course, the state of fetus were studied. The model of prediction of PI developed. The new method of prophylactic treatment of PI in women with APS was introduced. Mentioned prophylactic measures decrease the rate of pregnancy complications, perinatal morbidity and mortality.
