Essay

The object is technological processes of production of high purity tellurium with reduced oxygen concentration. The aim of the work is developing of industrial technology of high purity tellurium production providing tellurium production with low and reproducing oxygen suitable for Cadmium-Cadmium-Tellurium epitaxy structures. Methods used are chemical- and mass spectral ones; distillation gravimetric method; electronic microscopic method; numerical methods of computer processing and mathematic calculations. Results are as follows: it is developed the method of oxygen content in tellurium defining in the initial tellurium of technical purity, distillation separation and tellurium sample gravimetric being used; it is developed the method defining quality of the high purity tellurium with controlled oxygen content on epitaxy wafer (liquid-faze epitaxy grown) Cadmium-Cadmium-Tellurium micro- and macromorphology; the sources and mechanisms of oxygen inflow in tellurium during its purification in complex inindustrial production were stated; it is developed the activation energy process of tellurium evaporation in gas-carrier inflow in the temperature interval ranging from 823 to 1123 K (±0.3 kkal
