Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the development of the early diagnostic and prevention techniques of an anthracycline-induced cardiac injury on the basis of the heart rate variability (HRV) study under the influence of their different cumulative doses. It's also dedicated to the study of the correlation between the silent ST segment depression parameters and the left ventricle functional status. There were observed the decrease of HRV, increase of sympathetic and decrease of parasympathetic nervous system activity in patients received anthracyclines. The association between the changes of HRV parameters and the received cumulative dose was proved. It was also noticed the significant correlation between the degree of silent ST segment depression and HRV parameters. The method of an early diagnostic of cardiac injury by anthracyclines based on our research results was worked out, as well as the method of myocardial dysfunction prevention using trimetazidine.
