Kolyuchaya S. Application of ultrasound and the preparation Traumel C in complex rehabilitation treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis

The thesis covers the efficacy increase of treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis by development of therapeutic-rehabilitation complexes with inclusion of antihomotoxic preparation Traumeel S and ultrasound therapy. The therapeutic and comparative effectiveness of therapeutic-rehabilitation complexes is determined on the basis of analysis of clinical, functional, laboratory, biochemical and immunologic methods of investigation in dynamics as well as cytological and immunologic study of the synovial fluid during treatment.There were devised new physio-pharmaco-therapeutic complexes with the application of the preparation Traumeel S in complex therapy at the initial stage of treatment with further administration of ultraphonotherapy on the affected joints or ultraphonotherapy in combination with phonopuncture on the main points of acupuncture of general action, specific points of acupuncture of the adrenal glands and connective tissue. It allows to increase significantly effectiveness of treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis which is proved by immediate and remote results of treatment. The clinical effect was achieved with normalization of indices of cellular and humoral immunity and ensured longer stabilization of the therapeutic effect with reduced doses of medicinal preparations.Indications and contraindications for differential administration of the devised physio-pharmaco-therapeutic complexes are developed for patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
