The thesis is devoted to a problem of a high brightness ion beams production with a small ion energy spread, extracted from rf ion sources, for a purpose of increasing the nuclear microprobe resolution. The research was made of an inductive, helicon and multicusp rf ion sources. The high plasma density explains the high values of the current density and brightness of ion beams. The lowest energy spread of ion beam was reached with multicusp ion source.
