Essay

Test object – the process of forming the rational structure of bread grain subcomplex. Object of the research – the development of the theoretical and practical aspects of raising the economic efficiency of bread grain subcomplex through its structure optimization. Research methods – abstract-and-logical, system-and-synergetic, monographic, as well as those of sociometric interview analysis and synthesis, statistical-and-economic, that of system and comparative analysis, economic-and-mathematical, graphic, calculation-and-constructive, etc. Theoretical and practical results – the research data, conclusions arrived at and recommendations given in the thesis paper can be used for carrying out the tasks of raising the efficiency of grain market functioning, improving bread grain subcomplex structure as well as in developing the strategy of bread grain subcomplex growth in perspective. Scientific novelty – for the first time the paper defines the concept of structurization of the bread grain subcomplex asa system forming integrator in the process of the formation of the economic and sectoral proportions in the subcopmplex production spheres with the purpose of harmonizing the cooperation between the producers of grain and its processed products on the corporate grounds; for the first time the paper substantiates the system of the structurization economic effectiveness indexes which include the extent of the market development, competitive products sale, profitability levels, maintenance, labour productivity; the improvement of the methodological approaches to the determination of the bread grain subcomplex functioning efficiency. The paper also improves the practice of settling economic relations in the sphere of grain production and its products processing. It also further develops the proposals for the expansion of the grain and its products processing market, substantiates the economic mechanism of the interaction between the raw materials producers and processing enterprises. The author further develops the methodological approaches to the analysis of enterprise economic activity efficiency. Introduction degree – the results of the research have been used in the practical activity of the Chief Department of the Agroindustrial Development of the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration, of the Polissya Farming Research Institute placed under the Ukrainian Academy of Agrarian Sciences as well as in the educational process at the State Agroecological University (Zhytomyr). Efficiency: the research results substantiate the concept of bread grain subcomplex development on the basis of realizing its structure optimization. The sphere of application and the field of employment – Chief Administration for the Development of Economics and Agrarian Industry, the sphere of managing the strategic development of grain market, higher educational institutions, agrarian enterprises, planning and economic services.
