The variants of therapy are offered by an albumin peritoneal dialysis with the possible combining with other efferent methods of hemocorrection for treatment of chronic and fulminant hepatic insufficiency. Hyperbilirubinemia and high level of other "markers of intoxication" has been implicated to have nephrotoxic and hepatotoxic effects. Thus, removal of excessive bilirubin in patients with severe jaundice and renal failure could potentially benefit the recovery of hepatic and renal function. In our researches albumin containing peritoneal dialysis (PD) maybe successful in removing bilirubin and other toxines. The programmatic method of therapy for treatment of chronic hepatic insufficiency, which includes an albumin peritoneal dialysis, ultrafiltration, is developed, sorbtion of ascit with subsequent intravenous reinfusion on a background conservative treatment.
