Essay

The thesis deals with the issue of project work methods of teaching English to senior lyceum students. The methodology proposed has been theoretically substantiated and practically developed. The importance of project work in foreign language teaching to senior lyceum students has been shown. The psychological, educational and methodological fundamentals of project work have been studied. The components of foreign language teaching content in project work for senior lyceum students have been specified. The types of projects have been summarized and, accordingly, the project bank for 10-grade students has been created. As a result of the research the modulated system of exercises to teach English through project work has been created and theoretically substantiated. Its effectiveness was verified and confirmed in the process of the experimental teaching. Methodological recommendations concerning project work methods of foreign language have been developed.
