Cherednychok A. Features of growth and development of sugar beet and conditions of different methods of the use of potassium fertilizers

The thesis deals with studying the problem of the influence of time, forms and rates of the use of potassium fertilizers on the dynamics of changes of main indexes of growth and development and also formation of productivity of sugar beet plants on gray forest soil in the right-bank part of the forest-steppe of Ukraine. The results obtained gave the possibility to determine the optimal parameters of the use of the compositional potassium-magnesium fertilizer "Kalimag-30" which in its turn positively influenced indexes of disease resistance of plants length of active functioning of leaf surface, major indexes of photosynthetic activity of stands and the efficiency of the use nutrient elements from fertilizers. In its turn improvement of this parameters produced positive influence on the formation of indexes of productivity and technological quality of sugar beet roots. Reasons for economic and bioenergetical efficiency of the use of "Kalimag-30" in comparison with kainite and potassium chloride, were given.
