Sabri A. Modern methods of treatment of hepatic echinococcosis

Object of our study are patients with hydatid cysts of liver. Aim of study is to improve the treatment efficacy of these patients by development and applying of the new laparoscopic techniques. The general clinical, immunological, instrumential, radiological, endoscopic and bacteriological methods have been used. The theoretical profit is a new method of hydatid hepatic cysts surgical treatment – the laparoscopic echinococcectomy. Using of laparoscopic echinococcectomy have improved the results of treatment. By low-invasive technique the time of hospital stay and terms of rehabilitation have decreased. The novelties of our study are: methods of laparoscopic echinococcectomy, new methods of cyst cavity treatment, methods of scolex contamination prophylaxis and ways of cyst drainage; it is introduced in practice of surgical departmens of Odessa regional hospital and program of training of the doctors-interns in Odessa State Medical University; the field is surgery
