Essay

The dissertation is devoted to studying of the peculiarities of biological rhythms of CVS with healthy people and elderly IHD patients, and also to the correction of abnormalities of circadian rhythms with the help of melatonin. It is shown, that with physiological ageing, and, to a greater degree with elderly IHD patients, we can observe expressed changes in HRV and circadian rhythms of CVS, which can be treated as the abnormality of the autonomic regulation of CVS and the development of desynchronoze. To correct the abnormalities of circadian rhythms of CVS we prescribe melatonin (Vita-melatonin). Investigations have shown normalizing effect of melatonin on autonomic regulation and circadian rhythms of CVS with elderly IHD patients. Thus, the decrease of frequency and duration of episodes of ischemia of myocardium is marked at night hours.
