Object – ventricular rhythm disorders in myocardial infarction patients; methods – clinical, laboratory, electrocardiography, echocardiography, statistical; novelty – the relation between the risk of stable ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation in postinfarction patients and elevated plasma levels of angiotensine II, aldosterone, atrial natriuretic peptide and noradrenaline was found in this study; also the criteria of choose the effective approaches in correction and prevention of life-threatening ventricular rhythm disorders were evaluated; the efficacy and safety of relatively high dosage (>1200 mg/day) of amiodarone in treatment of stable monomorphic ventricular thachycardia; results – increase of efficacy of prognostic decision making concerning ventricular arrhythmia in postinfarction patients, basing on evaluated risk predictors and criteria of choose the effective treatment and preventive strategy; branch – medicine.
