The prevalence of metabolic risk factors in healthy subjects and patients with cerebrovaskular disorders is shown. Lipid levels and those of homocystein, C-reactive protein, interleukin-6, antiphospholipid antibodies in different periods of ischemic insult course are identified. The most prognostically unfavorouble metabolic risk factor combinations such as hyperhomocystenemia with the inflammatory marker elevation and hyperhomocystenemia with antiphospholipid syndrome and found.
