The dissertation is devoted to the modern view analysis of role and place of graphical information in the cognitive and converting man's activity and regularity of sign and simbolic information perception and operation in the different spheres of activity. It gave the grounds to consider students graphic preparation of secondary ducational establishments not as a traditional mastering of knowledge and abilities combination but as total forming process of personal graphical culture.
