Об'єкт дослідження - activity on use of special knowledge in investigation of crimes. Мета дисертації - definition of modern features of formation of the separate theoretical provisions of use of special knowledge. Методи дослідження - formal logic, system approach, historical - legal, sociological, statistical. Наукова новизна - the tendencies of formation and development of institute of special knowledge in the legislation of Ukraine, criminalistic science and expert practice for the first time are established; in interrelation the tasks, legal bases, principles of interaction of the subjects of use of special knowledge are construed; the forms of use of special knowledge are perfected. Практичне значення - the conclusions, formulated and argued in the dissertation, and offers are used in legislative job (improvement of the legislation of Ukraine); in research job; in practical activity of the inspectors, judges, agencies in charge of preliminary investigation and expert divisions; in educational process at study of a rate "Criminalistics", "Expert testimony "in court". Суб'єкт і ступінь впровадження - the theoretical provisions, conclusions and offers of the dissertation are introduced into activity of the State research expert-criminalistic centre and in activity of the judges of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, and also in educational process of the Kiev national university of internal affairs. Ефективність впровадження - conclusions and the offers have received a positive rating of the experts. Сфера використання - law and educational process, practical activity of the law-enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
