Svystun N. The dynamics of anthroponymicon in Ternopil in 19th - 20th centuries

Subject: male and female names for new-born children in the town of Ternopil in 19th-20th centu-ries. Purpose: to determine the male and female names of Ternopil inhabitants in 19th-20th centu-ries, to systematize and analyze their develop-ment during the survey period. Methods: descrip-tive, statistical (using general names sampling in every decade), elements of comparative method-ology, method of chronological scan, quantitative and qualitative method. Practical significance: there has been studied the dynamics of the an-throponymicon in the town of Ternopil in 19th-20th centuries. There have been made up the lists of the names for new-born children in the town of Ternopil in 19th-20th centuries and determined the average coefficient of homonymousity.
