Essay

The object: the lexicographical and grammatical process in Ukraine of XVIII-th century. The aim is to investigate the state and the main tendencies of formation and development the Ukrainian linguistic of XVIII-th century. This thesis is a complex study of the theory and practice of Ukrainian linguistic of the period under review based on unique manuscripts and old-printed monuments. The place and the role of lexicographers and grammarians in the dynamic development of science in Ukraine and outside the country have been determined.
