Fatkhutdynov V. Law-enforcement activity: nature, essence, humanism (theoretical-legal and methodological aspects)

The thesis is devoted to the analysis of nature and essence of law-enforcement activity as the way of social administration as well as guarantee and protection of basic human rights. Social nature and essence of law-enforcement activity are studies; the author's definition of it is substantiated; relationship between two categories: law-enforcement and law-protection activities is clarified. The author has analyzed both the dual nature of law-enforcement activity as special kind of social activity and state-and-law aspect of social administration. Contradictions in the sphere of law-enforcement activity determining its essence, matter, nature and functions are shown; relationship between human rights and law-enforcement bodies are clarified and ways of improving law-enforcement activity are suggested by the author.
