Condratyuk O. Judicial system and legal proceeding in Halychyna as the part of Austria- Hungary (1867-1918)

This paper deals with becoming, development and functioning of the judicial system in Halychyna as the part of Austria-Hungary (1867-1918). The development of the judicial system was described in Halychyna in 1867-1918. The features of functioning of judicial bodies were analysed in the conditions of action of the Austrian judicial system. Legal grounds, principles, structure, composition, jurisdiction of general courts were found out. Legal status of judges and special courts was defined in Halychyna. The suggestions were formulated in conclusions according to the experience of organization and functioning of the judicial system in Halychyna as the part of Austria-Hungary in the process of reformation of the judicial system of Ukraine.
