Essay

Dissertation presents results of in-depth versatile examination and treatment of patients with parapsoriasis. Terminological and meaning discrepancies between different classification systems were revealed. Dissertation provides grounds for application of International Disease Classification (IDC) nosology as such that corresponds to clinical and pathogenic characteristics. Morphological criteria of diagnosis and differential diagnosis of large plaque/small plaque parapsoriasis and limphomathoid papulosis were established. Approximate risk factors of the onset of abovementioned diseases were defined: male gender, age above 40 years, occupations with lengthy sun exposure and contact with oil processing products. It is suggested to regard abovementioned diseases as limphatic dermatoses with variable malignant potential, which results from morphological foundation of their development. Immunopathological manifestations of these diseases were established. Improvement of complex parapsoriasis therapy with herb bioflavonoids of immunomodulated effect and external vesselprotecting nonsteroid resolvents was suggested. Procedures of dynamic morphological examination with the purpose of secondary prevention of malignant transformation were devised.
