Artamonov R. Surgical treatment of aorto-iliac stenosis with menegment of hyperplasia neointhyma.

Thesis is devoted to the problem of surgical treatment of patients with stenosing lesion of aorto-iliac segment while his performing of bypass grafting with implantation of synthetic artificial device into aortofemoral position. A new approach in tactics of surgical and postoperative treatment has been elaborated, it basis on prophylaxis of pathologic proliferative growth of neointhyma of distal an-astomosis. Research was conducted on 128 patients with stenosing lesion of aorto-iliac segment. The control group of patients (65 people) had an operative surgical treat treatment and postoperative control by standard means and methods. The main group of patients (63 people) had a distal anastomosis as "end to side" according to new developed method of optimization of distal anastomosis (patent of Ukraine № 3406), and the postoperative patients control was carried out according to new methods of ultrasound monitoring (patent of Ukraine № 9778). Analysis of operation results of both groups of patients has shown that the group where preventive measures of hyperplasia of neointhyma were conducted had better results and improvements till the end of the 9th year; it is 14 % more than another group with standard methods of operation technique and postoperative treatment.
