Martos S. Youth slang in speech structure of city Kherson

Object: use of slang by youths and representatives of other age groups in the speech structure of city Kherson; subject: study of youth sociolect as structural component of slang of city Kherson; methods: descriptive, elements of comparative analysis, sociolinguistic methods of oral questioning, questionnaire design, direct and involved observation; novelty: in first lexical semantic, derivative, structural analysis of youth slang of city Kherson has been conducted, its systemic organization and origin have been described, specifics of formation of Ukrainian slang in Russian language space has been observed; results: empirical base of Ukrainian sociolinguistics has been broaden, dictionary of regional youth slang words of city Kherson has been created (15000 lexical units and idioms).
