This dissertation is devoted to determine the regularity of dynamics of 24-hours blood pressure (BP) monitoring indexes, the peculiarities of their interrelation with changes of heart structures and functions, to estimate their modifications after treatment in Chernobyl catastrophe clean-up workers with essential hypertension. It was showed that adequate treatment promoted to achieve desirable average level of 24-hours, daily and nightly BP as well as normalizing of BP variability and value of it morning increase, to restore the biphasic 24-hours BP profile, to decrease the left ventricle myocardium mass.An application field is a clinical medicine. The results have been applied in practice of medical institutions.
