Prudkiy U. Setariosis of cattle (epizootology, parasitology, methods of struggle)

The objects of investigations: setariosis of cattle and chemical preparations for struggle with parasites and their intermediate hosts, midges on different stages of developments. The purpose of investigations: study basic questions of epizootology, and diagnostics setariosis of cattle, develop efficient methods of struggle with this invasion. The methods of investigations: clinical, epizootological, faeceovoscopical, hemolarvoscopical, hematological, biochemical and statistical. Theoretical results: find out questions, concerning on spreading and particularities of epizootology setariosis invasion depending on season of year, sex, age and breed of cattle. Practical results: proved efficiency of domestically produced facilities, as novoverm, brovermectin-granulat, brovermectin-injection and foreign preparations (dectomax, baymec) in struggle with setariosis of cattle. The novelty: for the first time proved efficiency of bayoflay in the struggle with imaginal phasesof developments intermediate hosts of setaries - bloodsucking midges. High efficient against larvae these insects are rendered carboammonical salts. The branch of use: veterinary medicine.
