Essay

Object: humat ammonium (HA) as an atmospheric air contaminant, the community health in the regions of production of the substance in question. Purpose: to assess HA hygienically as an atmospheric air contaminant and to develop preventive measures for its negative effects on the community health. Methods: hygienic, biochemists, sociologic, medico-statistic. Results: the spatiaa and temporal distribution of the atmospheric pollution at the site of the plant for HA production have been studied; gualitative and quantitative dependence of the formation of the level, dynamics and structure of the population disease rate that lives under conditions of the effect of an atmospheric emission containing HA aerosol has been ileared up; the guidelines of preventive measures for the sanitation of production environment and ambi - ent air have been developed; the investication results have been the basis of a scientific estimating of tentatively safe levels of a HA effect and grounding of maximum permissible concentration of the given compound in the atmospheric air of the communities. Novelty: the conditions of formation and occurrence, a hygienic assessment of production, the dynamics and structure of the population's case rate, HA toxicometrik parameters, preventive measures for improvement of sanitary conditions of production and atmospheric air basin have been developed, maximum permissible concentration has been grounded. It is introduced in the work of Germes Corporation, LmD (Kramatorsk), Design Company "Projekt-Market" (Donetsk), Kramatorsk City and Donetsk Regional Sanitary and Epidemiologic Stations. The sphere of application: medicine (treatment and prevention institutions and educational establishment).
