Essay

The results of three-years' studies on the influence of separate elements of the technology of growing buckwheat on the growth and development of plants, forma-tion of a root and assimilation surface, grain productivity and quality have been stated. During the experiment consisting of three factors the following has been deter-mined: the optimal sowing terms for the cereal crop in the given soil-climatic condi-tions are the beginning of May; the most advantageous method of sowing is widerow sowing (width of a row 45 cm), the most effective preceding crop is winter wheat.
