Dissertation paper concerns the problems of substantiation of way to guarantee stability of coal mine capital drifts with durable service life under the conditions of overburden rock inrush to decrease specific consumption of materials and expenses to support exploitation state. The problem can be solved with the help of complex approach to assess the condition and development of way and recommendation to improve durable stability of capital drifts in rock massif in which a system of vertical rives is available. The laws of changes of stressed and deformed condition of compound rock massif around capital drifts were determined after actual and geophysical and reometrical methods, and expert assessment, and modeling with the help equivalent materials and number modeling had been applied. The way is substantiated, and recommendations are developed to increase stability of 708 level drainage crosscut in mine “Krasnoarmeyskaya-Zapadnaya nr. 1”.
