Essay

Regularities of temperature field formation and metal properties in conditions of deformation on the continuous broad-strip mill are defined and on a base of the obtained generalizations the technology of especially thin hot-rolled steel strips manufacturing which are applied instead of cold-rolled product is developed. By theoretical and experimental investigations the distributions on a strip width and length of temperature during rolling and material properties are obtained. Physical simulation of continuous rolling process of especially thin strips in last CBSM mills is carried out. On the base of this investigations it is determined, that at the corresponding strains, temperature and strain rate parameters of steel forming the recrystallyzation on the static mechanism predominates. The method of calculation of the metal temperature at continuous hot rolling of thin strips which takes into account the conditions of transit rolling of enlarged mass slab and installation in CBSM line of the intermediate rewinder is developed. The technology of rolling and finishing of hot-rolled strips of 1,5 mm thickness on CBSM 1680 is developed and implemented. The aim of this is developing of quality indexes to requirements which are analogous of cold-rolled products.
