Ogloblina M. The research of preventive drugs of brain ischemia among the antioxidants in thiazolidine derivatives raw

The dissertation is dedicated to the experimental substantiation of expediency of preventive application of the thiazolidine derivative (Les-13) in conditions of acute brain ischemia. It is experimentally established that Les-13 reveals maximal preventive activity in a dose of 91.8 mg/kg at introduction for 138 minutes prior to the moment of bilateral occlusion of common carotids. The cerebroprotective effect of the compound is based on its ability to prevent the formation of extended membrane pathology in conditions of cerebral-vascular deficiency of ischemic genesis by means of regulation of oxidant-antioxidant balance owing to the revealed antioxidant activity with antiradical properties, preservation of fund of ATP and prevention of modification of enzymes activity of energetic metabolism. Moreover at application of Les-13 in conditions of the investigated pathology the connective capacity of serum proteins and their affinity to ligands increases.
