Essay

The possibility of activization of senior pupils’ cognitive activity in teaching computer science using education-and-information environment is grounded in the dissertation. Education-and-information environment “InfoNIS” has been created and implemented into teaching process as a program means, which can be the basis for the development of web-based manuals on various subjects. The teaching materials containing theoretical principles, the system of practical tasks, means of control, and multimedia to assist learning applied software in the school course of computer science have been worked out.
