The dissertation deals with special clinical features of major duodenal papilla (MDP) tumors; possibilities of different diagnostic options in patients with tumors of this localization have been studied. Advantages of pylorus-preserving pancreaticoduodenal resection and local resection of tumor in compare with standard pancreaticoduodenal resection in patients with MDP neoplasms were established, due to better life-quality in postoperative period.
