Riznyk V. Civil Regulation of the Leasing in Ukraine

The dissertation represents an accomplished original scientific work. It contains comprehensive study of the problems of civil regulation of the leasing relations. Based on the analysis and generalisation of the Ukrainian law provisions, foreign legislations, international law documents, judicial practices and civil law doctrine shortcomings and gaps in the leasing regulation of the national civil law have been identified. On the grounds of the acquired results the notion of the leasing as civil category has been proved, the problem aspects of civil nature of the leasing relations has been examined and the ways of their solutions have been considered as well as the mechanisms of the exercising of the rights and obligations of the parties to the leasing relations have been analysed. On this basis the numerous suggestions have been made with the aim of the reforming Ukrainian civil legislation in the part of legal regulation of the leasing relations.
