The thesis deals with the teaching Business English communication to Economics students of higher educational institutions on the basis of immersion teaching.The methodology of teaching through immersion is theoretically substantiated and practically developed. While defining the list of professionally oriented communicative foreign language skills, necessary for future economists to fulfill their professional duties, the content of immersion teaching in the relevant educational institutions is detailed. The study of existing research in the field made it possible to implement three models of immersion: total, partial and sheltered.The effectiveness of suggested methodology has been verified and confirmed in the course of experimental teaching. Methodological recommendations to teachers for organizing immersion learning have been developed and applied in practice in three higher educational institutions, accreditation level III-IV.
