Momot N. T.Shevchenko's diary as a creative, psychological, and genre phenomenon.

Thesis deals with analyses of the Diary of T.Shevchenko in terms of creative, psychological and genre specific character of this work of literature. Literature work phenomenon grounding, characteristics of genre text heterogeneity, analysis of the Diary as an attitude manifestation of Shevchenko, a poet and an artist - are put to the basis of this thesis. In the thesis the structural and narration text analysis as well as genre form of the text has been fulfilled; the functionality of the Diary has been analyzed and psychological compensatory function has been defined as basic. Binary phenomenon of the text and visual line of paintings' works, fulfilled simultaneously, have been found in terms of psychology of creation of the poet. Based on the psychobiographical method the psychological justification of dream visions of Shevchenko have been determined. As a result of the research the specific genre creating elements of the Diary, its formation in the context of European literatures development has been found out.
