The dissertation concerns the research of the prosaic texts of Nina Bichuya, Halyna Hordasevych, Lubov Ponomarenko, which had appeared in the 1980s, as well as the prose works of Oksana Zabuzhko, Svitlana Yovenko, Eugenia Kononenko, Sophia Maydanska, Valentyna Masterova, Halyna Pagutyak, Halyna Tarasyuk, Ludmyla Tarnashynska and other authors published in the 1990s. Considered are the dynamics and main aspects of the feminine prose forming, phenomenon of the feministic literary creativity. There were especially outlined the peculiarities of the feminine literary tradition, Ukrainian feminine prose and so called "womanish writing". The literary art (contential and formal) indications of the Ukrainian feminine prose of the 1980s-90s, especially the specificity and new approach to the actual contemporary themes (of the moral-ethic, gender-feministic, existential-philosophical, art, national historic and socially-political trends) are outlined. There were especially analyzed the genre-stylistic modifications of the texts, such as "non-traditional" ways of the small prose by L. Tarnashynska, H. Pagutyak, V. Masterova, L. Ponomarenko and others; the "experimental prose" of H. Pagutyak. Disclosed is the specificity of the fiction presentation of the 'Chernobyl genre" by S. Yovenko, genre originality of the novels by O. Zabuzhko, S. Maydanska, H. Tarasyuk, E. Kononenko. Attention is paid to the research of the women's characters typology in the prose of the women-writers at the considered period taking into account the 'typical' pattern of the character as well as the peculiarities and principles (in particular an autobiographic approach) of the creation of the characters, dominating in the literature of the 1980-90s.
