Тhe dissertation has been designed to study the symptoms and the severity of anatomy-functional alterations in patients with complicated bladder cancer, to optimize the indications for salvage cystectomy, and to investigate the efficiency of the methods of urinary derivation. The records of 52 patients with grave complications of bladder cancer (hematuria, pain, dysuria) treated with salvage cystectomy were retrospectively analyzed. The derivation of urine was performed in such ways: ureterocutaneostomy - 1, ureterosigmoanastomosis - 23, ureteroileosigmoanastomosis - 7, Mainz Pouch II - 16, ileoneocystoplastica - 5. The impact of the symptoms of advanced bladder cancer on the patient's quality of life has been studied. The particularities of salvage cystectomy have been determined. The advisability of salvage cystectomy for complicated bladder cancer has been confirmed, the analysis of the efficiency of the methods of urinary derivation has been carried out. The scheme for dispensary monitoring of patients after salvage cystectomy has been elaborated. The criteria for assessment of long-term results after salvage cystectomy have been worked out.
