Vakhrushev I. The Geoecological Analysis of Calcareous Tracts of the Southern Coast of Crimea (for the Purpose of Seismoloecology and Environment Protection)

On the basis of a uniform method geological-geomorphological, seismic and environment-protection features of more than a hundred calcareous tracts of the Southern Coast of Crimea are studied, many of which are described for the first time. Theoretical basics of seismomorphogenesis are considered on the basis of which a classification of seismogeneous forms of the relief of Crimea is developed. A close connection of calcareous tracts with seismoactive structures is established. On this basis it is proved that they can act as their indicators. The concept seismoecological situation is substantiated. The method of estimation of a seismoecological situation which includes integrated parameters of seismic danger, density of population and the arrangement of objects of the socio-economic subsystem which stand in subjective-objective relations to each other is developed. On the basis of the developed estimation scales the differential estimation of seismoecological situation of the Southern Coast of Crimea ismade, which ranges from safe (0 estimation points) up to a high degree of danger (7-9 estimation points). Within the borders of the Southern Coast of Crimea 4 seismoecological areas which differ by the peculiarities of a seismoecological situation are singled out. Estimation of the environment-protection value of calcareous tracts is conducted and the environment-protection status of 29 tracts is defined.
