Essay

The object of the research is the participles of the Ukrainian language. The aim of research is to trace the history of participles’ accent of the Ukrainian language. The descriptive, comparative, historical-comparative methods are used. The history of accent of Ukrainian participles (-tji, -ъsі / -vъsі) from old Slavic period to our days was first discovered, which form the novelty of the research. The sphere of use is philology.
