The dissertation is the first Ukrainian monographic work devoted to the investigation of the legal status of the Christian Church in the IV c. A. D. This thesis contains the characteristics of different factors which stipulate its formation, legal nature and contents. In the dissertation there are also presented the factors of its institutionalization and termination. The peculiarities of legal personality of the Christian Church in different spheres of social life are also analyzed in detal.
